Beyond just the looks, we want to ensure your deck is structurally sound for all the foot traffic this summer. As part of our service this year, we are offering a comprehensive Deck & Fence Check-Up. We will:

• Scan for Wood Rot: Identifying soft spots in posts and joists before they become costly repairs.

• Hardware Inspection: Checking brackets, bolts, and hangers to ensure everything is tightened and secure.

• Fastener Refresh: We’ll take care of those annoying popped nails or loose boards that shifted over the winter.

Pro-Tips: Pre-Season Maintenance

To keep your wood in top shape, here are a few quick tips for this time of year:

1. Clear the Gaps: Sweep away wet leaves trapped between floorboards. Trapped organic matter acts like a sponge, inviting rot.

2. Clear the Perimeter: Ensure mulch or soil isn't piled up against your fence pickets or deck posts, as this is the #1 cause of premature rot.

3. Don’t let the Deck become the pets restroom. This causes much damage to the wood that can lead to costly repairs.
